Fall Write Night 2017

Last week in the Imperatore Library, Dwight-Englewood's annual Fall Write Night was held. Write Night is a great opportunity for our young writers to share personal works of fiction, poetry, and essays with the community. Sharing takes place with both the full audience and also in smaller breakout session by age group. Thank you to everyone that shared their work!

If you weren't able to make this Write Night, don't worry because there will be another one focused exclusively on poetry in the spring. To read works from previous Write Night participants, check out one of the school's literary magazines, Calliope (upper school) or Open Roads (middle school.)

Senior Marwah reads to the full group.

8th grader Nehir shares her vignette.

May reads to the 9th grade audience in the Bogo Room.

9th grader Rod shares his work with peers.

8th grader Suchita shares her work with the middle school group.

7th grader Josie reads her piece to the group.

Samantha reads to a group of upper school students.

8th grader Armaan reads his work to the group.

8th grader Sam shares his writing.

11th grader Riley closes the evening with his poem.
